Things I Love Thursday
Happy Thursday! From my desk in front of the window I can see that the sky is chock full of beautiful fluffy white clouds and tiny planes are flying back and forth in the distance. I have decided to have a no brain-strain day, and aside from work tonight (and the stupid laundry this morning) I’m not going to do anything that I don’t enjoy. I need to just chill.
In honour of today being (for 5 hours or so anyway) happy, joyful, relax-o day I give you- Things I Love Thursday:
❤ Long tram rides staring out the window when there’s not one sitting near me ❤ Declaring today NO JOB HUNTING DAY and joyfully closing all the job ad windows I had open ❤ Coke Zero. We have an unholy relationship ❤ The cool crisp Autumnal weather ❤ On that note- HAILSTORMS AND THE APOCALYPSE. I was stuck at a tram stop for hours in 4 inch-heels after the storm of the year halted pretty much every form of public transport in Melbourne. I waded through suddenly formed lakes, got rained on, splashed by cars going through huge fields of water and walked 3 blocks, jumping in puddles, with bare feet and shoes in my hands. In the end it took 3 hours and too much walking to make a 50 minute journey. But it was a pretty amazing thing to have been stuck in the middle of ❤ Pink pens, post-its and notepads ❤ Writing ❤ New magazines ❤ Pink Sherbet Photography. She has a selection of her works as free for use with attribution and they are so dreamy and colourful and fun. LOVE ❤ Colourful fake roses from the $2 shop, and deciding where I’m going to weave them around the apartment ❤ Dreaming of my ideal career, and knowing that it’s possible! ❤ How every interview I go on teaches me more about what I do or don’t want and how to get it ❤ and that with every interview I go on I get better at kicking interview arse. Even if I don’t get that particular job I still know I rocked it hard ❤

Yeah, like the break of finding that perfect job, rocking the interview, then getting it, thereby never having to go through this horrible process ever again! That’s the kind of break we need.

So true, my issue is that I can’t decide what I want! Too many dreams and only one lifetime, which one do I want to do first!?
